Breyden 100 Series DHS Heat-Shrinkable Polyester Tie Cord
The
Breyden 100 Series DHS Tie Cord is a premium, flat-braided, heat-shrinkable lacing tape engineered specifically for securing the end turns of stators in electric motor and generator manufacturing. Formulated from high-tenacity continuous filament polyester, it features a specialized finish that dramatically reduces fraying and enhances knot-holding capabilities during installation.
During the varnish baking cycle, this tape shrinks by approximately 10% when exposed to 350°F, creating an ultra-tight, reliable hold that prevents any shifting or loosening of the windings. Rated for Class F applications (up to 155°C), it integrates seamlessly with electrical varnishes and potting resins for a unified insulation bond.
