Breyden 75 Series DHS Tie Cord is a precision, flat-braided, heat-shrinkable lacing tape engineered specifically for securing the fine end turns of stators in micro-to-midsize electric motor and generator manufacturing. Formulated from premium high-tenacity continuous filament polyester, it features a specialized finish that dramatically reduces fraying and enhances knot-holding capabilities during delicate, high-precision installation.
During the varnish baking cycle, this fine tape shrinks by approximately 10% when exposed to 350°F, creating an incredibly tight, reliable mechanical lock that prevents any shifting, vibration, or loosening of small windings. Rated for Class F applications (up to 155°C), it integrates seamlessly with electrical varnishes and potting resins for a unified, permanent insulation bond.
